Biography
Cathleen Ann McEwen Mannheimer 60, of Tallahassee, Florida, went to be with the Lord on September 24, 2011, at her home. She was born on April 11, 1951, in Quincy, Florida, to George and Ketty McEwen. She attended ABAC and the University of Georgia where she obtained a degree as a veterinary technician and has worked in Tallahassee for the past 30 years, most recently, and for the longest time at South Monroe Animal Hospital where she established an incredible network of friends, many very dear.
Cathleen is survived by her sons Tyler and Greg Mannheimer; sisters Clare Minor and Renee McEwen (Ron); brothers Don (Susie), Lute(Emma Lee), and Mark (Rhonda) McEwen, many nieces and nephews as well as numerous friends. Also her special little pets Gumbo, Frankie and Link. She will be dearly missed and always treasured.
A "Celebration of Life" service will be held Friday, September 30 at 11AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Tallahassee. The family will recieve friends at the Social Hall following the service.
Memorial Contribution may be to; Big Bend Hospice, The Tallahassee Animal Shelter or, Humane Society in memory of Cathleen.
