Biography
Carey " Bubba" Edwards Stewart Sr. 56 of Havana died Tuesday, January 27, 2009 in Tallahassee. His Graveside funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday Jan. 31, 2009 at Woodland Cemetery in Havana. Faith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (850.539.4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com)
Mr. Stewart was born in Bainbridge, Ga. and leaves behind a daughter Christina Hernandez and husband Nario Hernandez, a son Carey Edward Stewart Jr. Two grand-children; Rosa and Jose Hernandez. Three Brothers; Lester Daniel Stewart of Lakeland, Fl., David Allen Stewart (wife Sylvia) of Havana, Fl., Robert Herman Lunn ( wife Dana) of Calvary, Ga. Four Sisters; Lawana Tatum (husband Stan) of Tallahassee, Fl., Linda Thomas ( husband Mike) of Calvary, Ga., Brenda Williams (husband Jeff) of Havana, Fl. and Ona Gail Bess ( husband Joesph) of Havana, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife Dorthy Nichols Stewart, his mother Phyllis McKinnie and father Marshall Stewart.
