Biography
Billy Ray Lewis, 72 of Havana, FL. passed away September 23, 2014 at his residence.
The Celebration of his life will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Bible Believers Fellowship with Pastor Dennis Young Officiating. ( the church will be available for floral gifts and deliveries on Friday from 4 until 6:00 p.m.)
Mr. Lewis was born April 28, 1942 in West Point, GA. The son of the late Mack Lewis and the late Pearl Joyner Lewis. He graduated from Alba High School (Bayou La Batre) in 1970, he then moved Mobile, AL for a few years, moved to Tallahassee in 1971, He was the owner operator of ABC Fencing from 1979 until his retiring in 2003.
Survivors include his wife Regenia Lewis of Havana; his son David Lewis (wife Denise) of Tallahassee; his daughter Susan Karol Lewis of San Antonio, TX. and son Telone Lewis of Tallahassee. Three grandchildren David, Jr.; Kim; and Pearl. Two step grandchildren J.C. and Taren; and one great grandchild Isabella. also included are his brother and sisters Ferrell Lewis of Mobile, AL; LaNell McConnell of Grand Bay, AL; Shirley Butler of Mobile, AL; Jannie Thompson Mobile, AL; and Pat Hickman of Stockbridge, GA.
He is preceded in death by his brother Lamar Lewis and sisters Doria Jean Morrison; and Addis Cobb.
