Biography

Arthur Earnie Green " Buddy" 65, of Concord, FL. passed away Friday, August 30, 2013 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM until funeral service time at 11:00 AM on Tuesday September 3, 2013 at Faith Funeral Home Chapel, internment will follow at Concord Cemetery with military honors. Buddy was born on August 19, 1948 in Quincy, FL. The son of Emmett Green and Sallie Barber Green. He was a U S Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam War, stationed on the USS Lexington. Buddy was a mechanic by trade (and a very good one) He was a long time mechanic for Dial Communication in Tallahassee. He was a member of Concordia Baptist Church. He loved his family, and enjoyed spending time with them.

Survivors include His mother Sallie Green of Concord, his sons Allen Green (and wife Kasi) of Concord; Stephen Marsh (and wife Jessica) and their children Colby and Angel Marsh all of Tallahassee; one daughter Kristin Hall (and husband Aaron) and their child Sara Katherine Hall all of Havana, Three sisters Phillis Strahan (and husband Tim) of Fitzgerald, GA; Sandra Johnson of Concord; and Bertha Vickers (and husband David) of Concord and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Emmett Green, and two children Troy and James Green.
